As children grow older and more of their permanent teeth come in, a daily dental hygiene routine is crucial to keeping teeth and gums healthy. However, it can be difficult to keep preteens interested in their oral care.

Tip #1

To Have a Beautiful and Healthy Smile:

  • It is important to visit our office at least twice a year, even when you feel no discomfort or signs of cavities. Try to have your teeth cleaned once every eight months.
  • It is most important to brush and floss your teeth after each meal.

Tip #2

  • Change your tooth brush at least once every six months and use one that is approved by the American Dental Association.
  • Make an appointment to see one of our doctors at the first sign of discomfort. Waiting can result in more damage to your teeth and nerves.
